Tory Lane (Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson), known professionally as is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Tory Lane received initial recognition from the mixtape Conflicts of My Soul: The 416 Story, released in August 2013. He was convicted in the Los Angeles County Superior Court of three charges in relation to his attack on Megan Thee Stallion in 2020: assault with a semi-automatic firearm; having a loaded, unregistered handgun in a vehicle; and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. Tory was sent to jail and faces up to 22 years in prison.
Early Life
He was born on July 27, 1992 (age 30) in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Tory spent parts of his early life in Toronto, Montreal, Miami, Atlanta, and New York. In 2006, he moved to New York but his condition did not improve. Later, he was sent back to Toronto, to live with his grandmother. Although he was known underground well before his 20th birthday and was supported early on by Sean Kingston, Tory made some of his most significant moves in 2014, he never recovered from his mother’s death.
